The next meeting of the Board of Trustees has been rescheduled for
Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
WHO ARE THE FRIENDS?
The Friends are people who are interested in working to enhance the Library in various ways.
WHAT DO THE FRIENDS DO?
The Friends meet monthly to plan ways to enrich the Library. Your membership dollars help us to donate gifts to the Library – gifts that are not always within the library budget to purchase.
Among our gifts to the Library are the Quilt case and Doll House Bookcase for the Children's Room, the large screen TV, the furniture for the Teen Center, and, for several years, we have funded the book backpacks for the Children's Summer Reading Program. We host an annual Appreciation Day for the Library staff. We also sponsor a monthly Book Club, a monthly Garden Club, and a Spring Concert to which all are invited.
HOW DO I JOIN OR RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP?
Membership forms are available in the Library.
Annual renewal forms are mailed to members each fall.
Patrons are invited to make a memorial donation to the Friends of the Pearl River Public Library in their honor. Please send a check to the Pearl River Public Library at 80 Franklin Ave., Pearl River, NY 10965, c/o the Friends of the Pearl River Public Library.
The Tribute Tree is located on the wall to the left of the entrance to the library.
Anyone who wishes to have a leaf engraved "In honor of" or "In memory of" a loved one can do so with a donation of $100 to the Friends of the Library.
All forms should be dropped off at the Circulation Desk c/o Friends of the Pearl River Library, or mailed to the Library c/o Friends.
